MUN

MUN was my elective and yea its interesting.......and so far ive partisiated in 4 MUN meetings.......

each less than an hour.....

October- November

This time period was pretty tough as we went through a lot of issues and problems in depth. We discussed the issue of terrorism in detail as it's a bog issue over here in Srilanka.

Also we had to write a resolution for the issue our group got. It was the usage of genatically modified food, there were 5 people in the group and all of them were 'for' the usage of GM food. We submitted our MUN resolution and yea keeping our fingers crossed :)

MUN RESOLUTION PRESENTATION

We have to present our resolution this Wednesday. It's kind awesome cause we were the first to submit the resololution. But it makes us nervous as to how to present one for the first time.

-My goals-
Give a good description about the issue and the sollution.

Make the sollutions as much affective as possible.

and lets see how it goes :)

Sunflower village

Sunflower village is the way i do community and service at OSC. Well I had my first day with the kids on the 11th of thursday and the following thursday. We enjoyed evry moment with the kids. They enjoyed it too.

Total service hours ; thursday the 11th 1 hour
thursday the 18th 1 hour

This week we will hopefully meet the kids (well thats tomorrow) and am soo looking forward to put a smile on their faces!!!.........I love those kids.............

August 28th- October 27th

During this period we helped the disabled kids in swimming as it helps them to move their muscles. It was really nice to work with the kids. Even though we had a weeks break we really missed the kids. The @22nd of october was diferent however cause we were in the IT lab with the kids playing some games and drawing online. It was a change for them as well as to us.
